They are -natural plants and herbs when distilled or cold pressed they produce a potent oil that can be used to treat many ailments produced by modern living. This should not be a surprise really as this was the medicine used before the pills and potions we use today. The kicker with the organic oils is that they cannot cure. In fact nothing can really cure anything. We carry the dormant disease around with us for life.
The difference with oils is that they help prevent all these issues developing in the first place. Drugs we take today have a limited amount of natural produce in them and they bring many side effects unlike natural organic products.
Most people only know them as a use in Aromatherapy to make nice scents to fragrance your home.
There are subtle differences one is the application of oils to the body and taking it internally. The other just a diffusion of manufactured scent. I
t is not a mystical remedy you don’t have to chant incarnations or have magic spells. (You can if you feel the need) When applied correctly they can help with hormone balance arthritis skin care hair care diet the list is endless. We offer you the opportunity to educate yourself in these fantastic natural organic products that you can use for your family pets and home.
A short list of how they help
Oils can be absorbed through the skin and into the body quickly. So to seep the oils in your skin we dilute them to create more gentleness by combining them with carrier oils. These larger oils that come from the fatty part of the plant increasing the length of time essential oils absorb into your skin prolonging the effects. People mistakenly think using carrier oils reduces the effectiveness of the oil. Actually it enhances the more powerful oil along with its own benefits. All dilution does is increase the surface area of absorption to deliver the oil where it is needed from a small area to an all over body use.
Different oils can be blended together to enhance the other with a base oil and used for many embellishments. For instance – massage shower gels or body lotions cold treatments muscle treatments. Two great oils mixed together can help arthritis. Amazingly these plants are found in nearly all countries around the world. Not usually the same plant but different plants that have the same properties and can help do the same things.
Aromatically – Essential oils are absorbed into the bloodstream when inhaled. The large amounts of blood vessels in the lungs absorb the oils and then circulate them throughout the body. Using a defuser can help you experience the benefits of essential oils. If you follow our breathing exercise in the inhalation of these oils you will have greater benefits as you are using a direct method.
Ingestion – Essential oils can be used as a powerful form of medicine. It should be remembered that they are powerful very powerful so please adhere to our advice when mixing and using them. Most oils are safe for internal use but a little bit goes a long way. You do not need vast amounts to enjoy the benefits they bring. Some oils have great internal benefits but shouldn’t be taken internally for more than 2 weeks due to their powerful performance. We believe ten days will be more than sufficient but again see our advice notes.
Personal Care – This is an excellent away to take advantage of oils that have been kept secret to improve your beauty home and health. From skin care to hair care to perfume to aftershave to oral hygiene to soaps.
Some other ways to use oils include: body butters toothpaste bug spray balms household cleaners body sprays sore muscles pre exercise treatments there a many ways to use these natural organic products once you have educated yourself in mixing and usage.
The challenge
I would like to give you an example here that many of us may have seen on UK TV. A well known brand of air freshener tells you the difference between using their air freshener with lavender in it as opposed to using fresh lavender flower.
They then have a subject who endorses this fact.
REALLY?
A fresh flower won’t make your house smell nice either. Using an oil that is concentrated will give you the smell in your home for sure. What they don’t do is tell you the amazing other benefits that this fantastic herb will create for you as well.
Why do you think that is? Maybe because manufactured “smell” is just that with minimal use of the intended “smell” created to make the product look good. If it was real then surely this is an advertisers dream to sell a great product.
I challenge you to try it for yourself.
Benefits
We will show you how you can create your own skin and beauty products at a much better price using only organic materials and a little patience. Your friends and yourself will be delighted with the results.

Conclusion
In the last six months I have been bombarded by people who have fantastic secrets to cure ED blindness deafness cancer all sorts of “tricks” “Himalayan secrets” “at last secrets” for various diseases by using fantastic herbs rituals and exercises. All manner of fantastic claims and exotic drugs to take. So called doctors who may be struck off or their information stopped by big pharmaceutical companies if you don’t subscribe now!!!!
Really?? In the Wild West as in many places we used to call this “Snake Oil” The sellers “Carpet Baggers”
It is just a ploy to get you to buy “my drugs” or subscribe $50 a month for information watching 30 minute videos to reveal “secrets” then extra to buy drugs or supplements from them – anything to empty your wallet.
Don’t get me wrong some of these things may work – as long as you keep paying and taking some companies good some bad. It is easy to pop tablets and feel better than to make a natural choice that involves a little effort. If you really want to spend your money wisely and use natural products that are readily available for a real healthy lifestyle you only have to know one secret…..
You have to change.
If it’s harder than you think to give up that toast in the morning dripping with butter and jam and endless cups of coffee to stay awake then this isn’t for you.
the natural way to do this is not shrouded in mystery or incantations to the “gods” or the application of dragons horns powdered of course or anything like that. They are simple things to do if you want to be healthy. It involves change the applications are inexpensive. I know I’m on benefits as of writing this. It may take time to get what you feel you need.
When you start to acquire your new store cupboard and start to use it the products can last you at least over a year.
Many of the things you may need and help improve your life your health and even your beauty are simple organic and dare I say “Life changers”
Hey Steven:
I enjoyed your post about the benefits of essential oils. As a true believer who has used oils for a number of years now for assorted ailments, cosmetic purposes, and for just feeling all-over good, it’s great to see a post about oils that doesn’t get histrionic and all woo-woo about the whole thing.
Herbal remedies and plant oils, as you say, have a long history of helping to mitigate human ills.
Keep up the good work!

Many thanks for your comments. I’m just trying to help without the drama.
Hello, essential oils seem to be getting more and more popular these days. I personally have no experience with oils. How long does it take for the use of oils to take effect?
I remember many years ago my dad ingested some kind of oil that was supposed to be beneficial but I cannot remember what is was. Thanks for posting this article. I think this is most likely a pretty good niche to be in and you should do well marketing these products.
Cal
Hi it depends on what you are treating. If you are treating ailments the effect can be instantaneous but like taking pills you have to use the mix of oils every day. The difference is you can use the oils more times than you can take pills
Thanks for this review. Essential oil habe many benefits that are amazing. I could remember when I had athritis, It was eucalyptus oil that helped me cure it. But I don’t think an acute rheumatism has cure yet. I have an aunt who has used various balm, drugs and oil but still could not get over it till now. Which type of essential oil product can you recommend for stretch mark.
For stretch marks you need a really good moisturiser. I would use raw sugar and Shea butter. For it to be smooth melt Shea butter in a glass bowl in boiling water. Once the water has boiled place the glass bowl in the water add six tablespoons of Shea butter then add two tablespoons of coconut oil then two tablespoons of sugar. Mix until smooth place in containers in the fridge once cooled. Use every day.
I absolutely love essential oils, I realize in some circles it is a cliche but I don’t really care. We use Digize oil (a blend) for stomachaches, digestion, heartburn and reflux and it amazes me how much it works. We also use lavender and theives around the house for cleaning and bug bites. This was a great article and very informative for those just getting started with oils.
You will be amazed then at all the other uses oils have. I have a whole section that will be dedicated to cleaning and bug bites.
Essential oils are definitely great for treating ailments. I like how you’ve pointed out that they don’t really cure but are best used as prevention. Organic is the way to go since there are no harmful side effects. Glad to learn that carrier oils are enhancers. There are so many amazing benefits! As far as the pharmaceutical goes snake oil is exactly right. One of my favorite plants is aloe and I like to use this natural oil from time to time. Excellent post here and I can’t wait to read more of them!
I have through my research found another oil that when mixed with others intensifies and compliments the affects of other oils. Not all of them but mainly ones for treating injuries and ailments so the oil works quickly and effectively.
Remarkable what you can do with just oils. I am a strong believer that plants have all the medicine we will ever need. So your post was inspirational. It made me curious when you mentioned that oils can be used by ingestion. And like a toothpaste. Which of the oils is recommended to brush your teeth with? I’m looking to find something more natural than the toothpaste in the stores. If I buy essential oils, are all of them ready for ingestion? Or should it be especially marked on the bottle? Thanks for your response and information so far. I enjoyed your blogpost a lot and made me think to change things myself. Good luck to you. Love Nanda
Hi everything you ask for like toothpaste will be revealed soon in further blogs. It is quite in depth to reply here with a recipe. Only ever buy organic oils. It must say organic on the label.
Hey,
Great article. I’m a big fan of natural products especially for kin care, this is due to trying to avoid the chemicals that are added to the majority of man made products due to them lowering testosterone and causing other health issues. Are there any organic oils you can recommend for reducing skin blemishes?
Hi yes I will have a complete section on skin care being published soon.
This will include using oils in the beauty industry.
Amen to your conclusion! I could not agree more. I actually want to purchase a diffuser and some essential oils for relaxation. They help without you even really noticing it. I did not notice how much I actually enjoyed them until I realised the diffuser stopped working. Do you know of any oils that would benefit someone with Rheumatoid Arthritis? Or something that might assist you during cramps?
Thank you for sharing the positive benefits of essential oils.
Hi yes I will have a complete section on ailments and how to help soon.
To help with cramps try using 1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda in water every day for five days weekly. It stops muscles cramping as your ph balance improves.
This is really cool. My brother had really bad acne growing up and he used essential oils in hopes of clearing up his acne and it worked liked a charm. I mean his face was crystal clear like he never had acne a day in his life. Now I am having little breakouts of acne hear and there which is why that I am glad I came across your article. This is what exactly what I was looking for. What essential oils do you recommend for acne and where is the best place to get them. Great article, very helpful.
I will have a complete section on skin care soon and how to treat issues such as this.
I’m afraid that I don’t endorse any website that sells oils I will however point you in the right direction and show you how to use them. If you do not live in the USA don’t buy them. Not because they are not good but the postage tariffs are really expensive.
I use essential oils daily and am a firm believer I also believe Quality is Critical! My experience has been that substituting lesser quality products will compromise your results!
Hi Rick
Thanks for your comments and endorsement of using only organic quality oils.
Your experience should be noted by everyone.
I believe in essential oils and use them every day for a variety of reasons instead of taking any kind of medications. I also believe that Quality is Critical! Is quality important to you and if so what do you look for to insure quality? Our experience has been that substituting lesser quality products will compromise your results!
A very good choice of topic. I thought I knew quite a bit about essential oils, but I did not know a carrier oil enhances the absorption of these oils when mixed.
Personally, I like using lemon essential oil to freshen up a bathroom smell. A few drops on the walls and floor normally does the trick. I also like adding a couple of drops of peppermint oil to flavour green tea.
Also rosemary oil and fenugreek seeds infused in olive oil is great as an intensive hot oil treatment before washing my hair. Normally left on overnight with a shower cap and another dry wrap to prevent the oils soiling my pillows.
Essential oils are definitely multi-use don’t you think?
Thanks for sharing!
Absolutely spot on with everything you say. To make your rooms in your home smell really nice and use the benefits you say put about five drops of oil you like on s cotton ball and put behind a radiator. When they come on the scent is intensified. Do the same with lavender oil put inside a pillow case for a great nights sleep. Try using mandarin instead of lemon for a change around the house. If you have natural wood try polishing with orange oil instead to bring out a warm glow. You can use this with bees wax too. I have just investigated an oil that enhances most other oils too as it excites the chemical process naturally in the other oils. Watch this space.
Hi, nice post! There are definitely benefits to essential oils, especially for aromatherapy reasons, I’ve found. I don’t believe they ‘cure’ anything, but lavender is soothing and they do have some useful properties. I can’t use them though, unfortunately. I have cats. Two cats and a zillion foster kitties and certain kinds of essential oils are toxic to them, especially in essential oil diffusers. So I just steer clear now. That said, I USED to use lavender essential oil to kind of soothe stress. It worked excellently! Thanks for the post!
Ok yes this is true for pets. Saying that cardamon oil is good for the digestion encourages a healthy appetite. It’s ok to diffuse frankincense and lavender as well. If you leave an escape route for your cats if they particularly dislike the smell you should be ok
Hello Steven, I must say that this article is very helpful and informative. I think that essential oils are becoming more popular today just because of their effect on the human body. They helped me to stop smoking so I could definitely recommend it to people. I also heard essential oil are good for weight loss, can you recommend some for that purpose?
I’m not a doctor so I can say this or that oil may help but regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle diet etc are all part of a healthy way to loose weight. If there was a single oil I’d be a millionaire overnight. I also have a formula for stoping smoking and to erase nicotine addiction for smokers people who vape or use jules too.
Our family has used oils only aromatically. With busy work schedules and volunteering for various organizations, it can get a little hectic sometimes. We use a small diffuser for stress relief in one room of our house where we read. My wife started using but I never really paid attention to the benefits it offers until reading your article. I just thought it smelled good. Would it be better to use the diffuser in the bedroom while we are asleep so it has more time to be effective?
Thanks.
Yes there is no reason why you cannot use this at night time. I would make sure you have an electronic diffuser or as my preference I use an electronic wax burner and use oils in the wax. It also depends on what you wish to achieve from the oils you use.
This article has enlightened me about essential oils. Although I’m a pharmacist and we tackled them during our lessons in college, I’m not an expert with regard to essential oils. So, this article has really helped me get proper knowledge about these substances. I may use them as well for my own relaxation activity and I’m sure the saunas and massage parlors that I will visit, they have these oils. I will try to order also via online shopping some of the oils, so I will have them handy.
With regard to ingestion, will that result in bringing a laxative effect once it reaches our digestive system?
I’m not a doctor so I can’t give advice on medical matters. It is safe to ingest oils but as I have previously said a little goes a long way and they are very potent so I use only one to three drops in tea or water. Again it depends on what you are trying to achieve. Clove oil is a great detox two drops in water or tea but only use for a maximum of fourteen days then not before seven days. I am diabetic so I have Earl Grey tea every day because it contains bergamot then I add two drops of cinnamon one drop of fennel two drops of clary sage. Cinnamon helps with blood sugar fennel with digestion clary sage hormone balance bergamot helps cholesterol. These oils contain many other benefits too many to comment on in a reply.
I am very glad I do not have a TV….Why? Because I know I would probably fall for the marketing ploys that companies use to gain a steady stream of product buyers.
It is true – the percentage of flower power in an air freshener is probably in the small decimals. Essential oils on the other hand, are very potent per drop. A little goes a long way and the smell lingers and is beautiful.
All I tend to do with an air freshener is sneeze after I’ve sprayed it!
Once again, thanks for sharing.
Hi I would recommend a diffuser for air in your home. You can buy a multitude of oils for this but the most cost effective are cold pressed organic oils. I find five drops of oil on a cotton ball then placed discreetly on the radiator works well when you need heating for your home.
Thanks for sharing this blog on the benefits of essential oils, and for this very good blog post. I was not aware that you could use them internally for health benefits, and am interested in which oils can be used for which health benefits. I hope that you will be sharing more on this topic. Thanks again, ~ Elaine
